Christmas Concert
Crossings joined Sometimes8, Ron
Haugen, The "Fab 6", The Cathedral of Sacred Heart Children's Choir and
The Vineyard Dancers for a community Advent/Christmas concert.
Over 500 guests enjoyed the entertainment. The
Lewiston/Altura Ministerial Association provided narrative and prayer.
The Souled Out Club collected toys for Toys for Tots and food for
area food shelves.
Halloween Party & Haunted House
The Crossings Center came alive or
"undead" might be a better term, as the old barn was transformed into a
haunted house. Young and old alike enjoyed the fun and frights.
Teens enjoyed a halloween party following the haunting.
See You At The Pole
85 youth from LAHS came outside to pray around the school's flagpole for their teachers, peers, and leaders.
Master's Gardens
15 vegetable gardens were planted on
the grounds of the Crossings Center by local residents. A
bountiful crop supplied fresh produce to the community. Over
8,000 lbs of produce was donated to food shelves!
"All Out Tour" Bright Light Parade & Pilot for Kite
Saturday April 18, 7:00pm at
the Dover/Eyota Elementary school gymnasium, Christian Crossings and
God Squad sponsor another night of awesome music for youth in the
Dover/Eyota Area. This FREE event is open to all area youth
grades 7-12.
Crossings Annual Dinner Concert, April 25th

Christian Crossings & God Squad sponsored an awesome night of music
by acclaimed Christian band Lightswitch. The evening was
highlighted by a performance by Crossings and a feature concert by
Lightswitch.
Thanks & Praise Concert, St. Charles
Saturday, November 15, 2008 at the
St.
Charles Elementary Auditorium. Crossings joined forces with the St.
Charles Area God Squad
to raise funds for area youth. The evening featured an opening act by
area youth and was followed by a concert by Crossings with a guest
appearance by Christian band, Rescue Adam.
Tony Melendez In Concert
Sat., Nov. 8, 2008 - Crossings sponsored and hosted a concert with International
Christian Music Artist and inspirational speaker, Tony Melendez.
Tony was born without arms and plays guitar with his toes.
His incredible talent and inspirational story moved and
movitated all in attendance. Tony and his band presented "A
Gift of Hope" at the Winona State University Somsen Auditorium.

MN - Saturday, June 28, 2008 - Christian Crossings hosted the inaugural
CrossFest, a Christian music festival and day of family entertainment.
Thousands of people attended CrossFest as local, regional and a
national band glorified God through a wide cross-section of music
genre. Great food, great music and fun activities for those of
all ages highlighted the event. CrossFest ran in unison with
Lewiston's
city festival, Heartland Days.
Congratulations Chantel Ressie the 2008 Christian Crossings Scholarship recipient!

Crossings hosts
annual Dinner Concert
Lewiston,
MN - Christian Crossings' Annual Dinner Concert: Saturday, April 26, Lewiston
Community Center.
Nearly 200 guests joined Crossings for an evening of New Beginnings.
50 youth from Lewiston, Winona, St. Charles, and Plainview waited on
the guests. Crossings thanks everyone for their support and is happy
to report that a record amount of funds was raised to support the
ongoing programs and services of Christian Crossings.Rain or shine!
Newsboys Concert at Mayo Civic Center, Rochester
Rochester, MN - April 20 - Christian
Crossings sponsored a trip to the Newsboys concert. 45 youth and
adults from Lewiston, Winona, and St. Charles traveled on the Crossings
bus for an evening of ROCK! The kids are still talking about the
drummer's amazing feat of being hoisted in the air and turned
upside-down while still jammin'! Great memories for all!
St. Rose of Lima hosts "Glorify"
Sunday, January 27, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Lewiston
hosted the annual event which is
traditionally the first concert of the new Christian Crossings Tour.
The concert was followed by a Kids'
Carnival featuring games, fun food, crafts and prize drawings.
Joel & Jodi Hennessy also
made a presentation on their
recent trip to India following the concert. The day long event
began at 8:30am with Crossings providing liturgical music at the Holy
Mass. A Bake Sale followed from 9:30 to close. ALL in
attendance enjoyed this event which benefits the youth programs in the
tri-parish cluster of St. Rose of Lima / St. Anthony / Immaculate

Chatfield Area Churches present Thanks & Praise '08
Saturday,

A special concert to benefit Chatfield Area Youth Groups was hosted
by Chatfield Churches and made possible by a grant from the Chosen
Valley Community Foundation. Despite frigid temps, a good crowd turned out to benefit

St. Charles "Thanks & Praise" Event raises over $23,000 for flood relief
St.
Charles, MN - On October 28, 2007, Christian Crossings and a dedicated team of St. Charles
area adult leaders and youth teamed up for flood relief in Southeast
Minnesota. Area businesses and individuals rallied to help those
affected by the August floods. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans
provided matching funds in the amount of $1 for every $3 raised
bringing the total proceeds to $23,333. A check was presented to
the American Red Cross, Winona Country Chapter. The proceeds have
been utilized in multiple counties affected by the flood. Thank
you to all for your generous support.
